Overview
The concept of War of Emperium has undergone significant changes. Because in the current realities, 20 WoE 1.0 and 10 WoE 2.0 castles is too much, on private servers their number is usually reduced by several times. Also, on many servers, the ability to receive Godlikes — the main trophy of Guild Wars — is disabled.
We have brought the WoE system into a more logical, in our opinion, form. You no longer have to collect Godlike pieces for six months in the hope that the server won't die. Now a separate Godlike is "attached" to each castle. The guild owns a Goldlike as long as it controls the castle.
At the start of the server, 4 WoE 1.0 castles will be available (1 for the each town). WoE 2.0 Castles will be opened with the introduction of Transcendent classes.
Below there is the information about WoE changes. Guild skill changes are described here.
Changes Summary
- 20% Flee penalty has been removed.
- WoE 1.0 and WoE 2.0 take place on different days.
- WoE lasts 1.5 hours (90 minutes).
- There are 4 WoE 1.0 castles available: at Prontera, Payon, Geffen and Aldebaran.
- There are 2 WoE 2.0 castles available: at Yuno and Rachel.
- Castles are rotated once a month, while their economy and owner are reset.
- One Guild can own no more than 1 WoE 1.0 castle and 1 WoE 2.0 castle.
- If the Guild that owns the castle breaks the Emperium in another castle, it goes to the monsters, and its Economy and Defence reduces by 5 points.
- The guild that owns the castle gets a Godlike until the end of the next WoE:
Note: Godlike items have their stats remastered.
- Godlike items can be traded, but can't have Random Options.
- All WoE 1.0 castles now have Barricades System similar to WoE 2.0.
- Only the guild that owns the WoE 1.0 castle can use the portals leading to unoccupied gates.
- All WoE 1.0 Guild Dungeons are interconnected. All WoE 2.0 Guild Dungeons are interconnected. WoE 1.0 and WoE 2.0 Guild Dungeons are not connected.
- Any player who has bought a Hunting License for a week can enter the Guild Dungeon.
- The Hunting License price is set by the GM of the Guild that owns the castle.
Note: Until the War of Emperium are announced, you can warp to WoE 1.0 Guild Dungeons by paying 10 000 Zeny to Harbald from the Mercenary Guild.
- Players who bought a Hunting License from a Guild can't be attacked by players of this Guild, but can be attacked by other players who have entered the Guild Dungeon.
- The Guild that owns the castle can add monsters to the 2nd level of the Guild Dungeon, including Champion monsters.
- The Guild that owns the castle can increase the population of monsters in the Guild Dungeon for a period of time.
Note: The information about Guild Dungeons' 2nd floor will be announced later.
